Employment Opportunities: Audit Senior

Job Summary:

This role will involve reporting and completing audits of governmental clients and reporting findings to the audit manager. Audit seniors will audit financial statements and government grants, complete procedures and recommendations, carry out standard audit procedures related to the audit of financial statements and reviewing internal controls over financial systems, and complete specific tests to gain assurance that specific balances or items of expenditure are fairly stated. The role will involve analytical review, specific sample testing of balances, and items of accounts.

Requirements:

The basic requirements for this job include:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related discipline

• 2+ years of federal government financial statement audit experience

• Experience working with Government Auditing Standards

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
